No, current and/or past-due child support will not be garnished from the bonuses. These funds fall under the American Rescue Plan Act and are not eligible for offset.

Will the upcoming child tax credit payment be offset against child support?
No, the new law exempts the periodic child tax credit payments from offset for past-due child support. However, any amount claimed as a credit on the 2021 returns in 2022, could be subject to offset as a refund.
