Comprehensive Medical and Dental Program (CMDP) Provider Services

Provider services staff work with doctors, dentists and health care professionals.  They handle the AHCCCS and CMDP registration for providers.  They work to resolve any quality of care issues concerning providers.  The staff assists Member Services with the names, phone numbers and locations of registered providers, including pharmacies.  They are listed in the Provider Directory. Health care specialists that are registered with CMDP are listed in the Specialty Directory.

Important reminder, as a registered provider with the AHCCCS Administration, (Arizona's Medicaid Program), you are obligated under 42 C.F.R. §1001.1901(b), to screen all employees, contractors, and/or subcontractors to determine whether any of them have been excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.  You can search the HHS-OIGExternal Link Icon website, at no cost, by the names of any individuals or entities.  All health care providers are strongly encouraged to have their staff review/listen to the AHCCCS e-learning seminar, "Fraud Awareness for Providers"External Link Icon.  AHCCCS is adding photos (with the cooperation of MVD) to its on-line verification toolExternal Link Icon that providers may use to verify member eligibility.
